Will a new mattress help?
Most people purchase a new mattress because their old mattress isn’t performing like they think it should. Here are a few tips to help determine if a new mattress will help you fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer and wake up more rested with less pain.

  • Pain
Muscle and joint pain can be caused by inadequate support and increased pressure due to sleeping on the wrong mattress. A properly supportive mattress may help reduce acute pain in muscles and joints.
  • Tossing & Turning
Tossing and turning is your body’s way of compensating for interruption of communication between your nerve endings and your brain. This is often caused by pressure points on your body. A new mattress that reduces pressure points by properly aligning your body may help control tossing and turning.
  • Sleeping Hot or Cold
Burning up or freezing at night can cause you to move around and wake up when your body is uncomfortable. Newer technology and better fabric helps wick away moisture and regulates body temperature to create an ideal sleeping climate.
  • Sagging & Dipping
Lack of quality support can cause areas of a mattress to give over time. This results in people “sleeping in holes,” rolling to the middle or off the edge of the mattress. A new mattress with a quality support system is designed to provide a sleeping surface that maintains its integrity over time.
  • Partner Disturbance
Often our sleep gets interrupted by motion transfer from a sleep partner’s movement. Many new mattresses have support systems that help redirect or reduce motion.
